I bought this light as a nightstand light; regular lights were too bright if you needed to wake up in the middle of the night and go pee, but didn't want to bust your toe on the bed or something. Flipping the room light on wasn't an option because it would wake my wife up; the regular nightstand light was still too bright; so my working theory was that I wanted something compact, small, gave a radial light, and something I was able to turn on by tactile feel, instead of fumbling around in the dark for a switch. This light fit that requirement to a T. Was it super bright? Nope, but I didn't want super bright. The semi-spherical dome provided exactly what I wanted, a good radial light that was bright enough to help me navigate from my bed to the bathroom and back, without blinding me.So I thought I had found the perfect use for the perfect little light.. You can hang it on a tent through a flip top arc or you can attach it to a metal that sticks to magnet. The size is small and takes 3 AAA batteries. The color is dark green and black so you know what you are getting. Overall a nice light but you will likely need extra lights besides this if you want clarity of view within the tent. |
