I bought this for my daughter's first beach outing. Shipping was fast, beach tent was light and compact when folded, it took about 5 mins to set up (even if the instruction sheet was pretty useless)so it is very convenient. These were about all the positive things that I could say.So why the 1-star? Because it was useless for a beach tent. Firstly, when it opened up, it almost took off like a kite because there was NO air vent for the air to pass through. And most beaches are windy. So I had to quickly sit inside it so it would not fly away. Secondly, the metal bars that were suppose to hold it down was WAY to short that they popped out and got lost in the sand (it did not help that it was gray like the sand) when the wind blew. Good idea on how to hold down the tent but it was about 6 inches too short. Thirdly, we got a solid lime green tent, not like the blue and yellow that is on the photo and that we expected. This really is a good tent. I bought it for the use to get out of the wind and hot sun on my fishing weekends. I have been pleased with it. It was quick and easy to set up and tear down. It's a good small and compact tent that when I first had it set up I had to turn it around away from the direction that the wind was blowing. I have been using this for a little over 2 months now, and have had no problems. Its big enough to leave my cooler and a small pad to lay down in the heat of the day and take a nap.
